Where can I find a database of dissertations?
Answer
The library currently subscribes to two dissertation databases:
- ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global: The Humanities and Social Sciences Collection
- TREN (Theological Research Exchange Network)
There are also open access repositories such as:
- EThOS: E-Theses Online Service (has a UK focus)
- Open Access Theses and Dissertations
You’ll find tips for searching and viewing ProQuest Dissertations & Theses on their LibGuide.
Additional database tips and tutorials, including a PowerPoint demonstration on using the TREN database, may be found on our Library Database Tutorials LibGuide.
Tip: If you're looking for a specific dissertation or thesis, check to see if the degree-granting institution has an institutional repository that includes the full text of dissertations.
