I'm unable to view an EBSCO eBook.

Answer

  • Try refreshing/reloading the page in your browser.
  • Try a different browser on your computer/device. If you’re using Chrome, try Firefox. If you’re using Safari, try the Chrome app.
  • Try accessing the resource on a different device.
  • Clear your browser’s cache, cookies, and history, relaunch your browser, and try accessing the books again.
  • If you are trying to access the book from the View eBook button in WMS Discovery, your firewall or antivirus software may not like the redirect to the EBSCO platform. Try looking up the eBook in the EBSCO eBook Collection.
  • If none of these steps work, there may be a firewall or antivirus setting on your device that is blocking access. You may need to adjust your settings. IT may be able to help you with this. Send an email to ittickets @ johnsonu.edu and include information about your device’s operating system, your browser version, the URL you are trying to access, and a screenshot of the error message.
