I found an ebook I want to use for my paper but I don't know how to cite it.
Answer
All of the major style guides (APA, MLA, Turabian, Chicago, SBL) provide instructions for citing eBooks as well as other types of electronic resources. The citation format is different in each style guide, so you will need to know which style guide your professor wants you to use. If the style guide isn't specified in the instructions for your paper or in your course syllabus, please check with your professor to see which style guide you should use.
Most eBook and article databases will create a citation for you in your required style - APA 7, MLA, Chicago, etc. You may need to tweak the citation to conform to the style guide, so you need to be familiar with the citation rules for the style guide you're using.
